Chevrolet Silverado Electric powered Pick-up set to be created by General Motors
The truck will be built in the same Michigan factory that makes the Hummer EV, and it will be powered by GM's Ultium batteries. Retail and fleet versions will be available.
GM stated that they would be developing a new Chevrolet Silverado Electric powered Pickup alongside the latest Hummer EV in the new Factory Zero in Michigan. This past year, GM declared that the Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly would be the facility to create only electric cars. Electric models will be available alongside the gas-powered Silverados in 2023 or 2024. The fact that Chevy will build an electric pickup truck for its Silverado pickup truck was inevitable, and now it has been confirmed. On a single charge, the vehicle will be able to travel 400 miles, and it will use GM's Ultium battery pack.
The project, known as Factory Zero, will be behind creating the new GMC Hummer EV. GM also announced that they would develop a new Chevrolet Silverado Electric powered Pickup alongside the latest Hummer EV in the new Factory Zero in Michigan. The auto-maker recently introduced that the new Factory Zero is additionally planning to produce the impending new Chevrolet Silverado Electrical Pick-up.
Also, Chevy said it will offer a work-focused fleet model and a snazzy retail version of the electric Silverado. Chevrolet says that its impending arrival won't impact its gasoline-powered Silverado line for now, although it plans to update its internal combustion models before the end of 2022.

The General Motors company plans to offer 30 new electric models by 2025, of which two-thirds will be sold in North America.
Currently, it is unclear when the Chevrolet Silverado Electric powered Pickup will be available for sale. In spite of this, General Motors said it would be announcing more information in the coming months.
